These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of recenterlife.com (the "Site") and the wellness retreat, lodging, and related services offered by re:center ("re:center," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing the Site or booking with us, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who We Are
re:center is a boutique wellness lodge located in Playa Hermosa, Santa Teresa, Costa Rica, offering residencies, retreats, wellness club access, and related programming focused on nervous system regulation.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to book a stay or use our services. By booking, you confirm you meet this requirement, or that you are booking on behalf of an eligible adult with their authorization.
3. Bookings & Payments
Reservations are made through our booking platform (Cloudbeds) or directly with our team.
Rates, deposits, and payment terms are as stated at the time of booking.
Cancellation, refund, and rescheduling policies are provided separately at the time of booking. If no separate policy is referenced, contact us at bookings@recenterlife.com before booking to confirm terms.
We reserve the right to decline or cancel a reservation at our discretion, including for safety, capacity, or eligibility reasons, with notice where reasonably possible.
4. Wellness & Health Disclaimer
re:center is a wellness lodge, not a medical or mental health treatment facility. Our programming — including HRV tracking, yoga, breathwork, sauna, cold plunge, massage, and coaching — is intended to support general wellbeing and is not a substitute for medical diagnosis, treatment, or advice from a licensed physician or mental health professional.
HRV readings and wellness reports are for informational and personal-development purposes only.
If you have a medical condition, are pregnant, or have concerns about a physical activity offered on-site (including sauna, cold plunge, ATV excursions, or functional training), consult your doctor before participating and inform our team in advance.
You are responsible for disclosing any relevant health conditions or physical limitations to us prior to and during your stay.
5. Assumption of Risk
Participation in physical activities offered at re:center (including but not limited to yoga, functional training, ATV excursions, cold plunge, sauna, and bodywork) carries inherent risk. By participating, you voluntarily assume all risks of injury or harm associated with these activities, to the fullest extent permitted by law. Guests may be asked to sign a separate liability waiver on-site before participating in certain activities.
6. User Conduct
When using the Site or staying with us, you agree not to:
Provide false information when booking or applying
Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in a way that disrupts its operation
Attempt to access non-public areas of the Site or our systems
Harass, endanger, or interfere with other guests or staff
Use our facilities in a manner inconsistent with our house rules, as communicated on-site
We reserve the right to remove any guest from the property, without refund, for conduct that endangers others, violates house rules, or breaches these Terms.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on the Site — including text, images, videos, logos, and design — is owned by re:center or our licensors and protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from Site content without our prior written permission, except for personal, non-commercial use (e.g., sharing a link).
8. User Submissions
If you submit a review, testimonial, quiz response, or other content to us (e.g., via the Site, email, or social media), you grant re:center a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and publish that content (including your name and, where applicable, title/organization) in connection with promoting re:center, unless you tell us otherwise in writing.
9. Third-Party Links & Services
The Site may link to or integrate with third-party services (e.g., Cloudbeds for bookings, WhatsApp for messaging, Instagram/Facebook). We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of third-party services. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms.
10. Disclaimers
The Site and our services are provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any wellness outcome (e.g., improved HRV, symptom relief) will result from your stay — individual results vary.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, re:center and its owners, staff, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or participation in our programming, including personal injury, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law. Our total liability for any claim arising from your stay will not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant booking.
12. Governing Law & Disputes
